Pest problems almost always start outside the home, you may have noticed a spider web in the eaves, or seen ants trailing along the sidewalks. If you see insects inside we expect they are surrounding the home as well. We have designed our service based on years of experience, with this concept in mind, Eliminate what is inside, and protect the outside.
INITIAL PEST SERVICE
The initial service is one of the most important parts in a successful pest control program. The goal of this service is to ensure that any pests are eliminated from the inside of the home, an effective “clean out” of what could be bothering you as well as getting rid of nests and webs around the home.
Mac’s Pest Control will inspect common harborage areas and treat the interior to provide that protection. Once the inside has been addressed we will apply products to create a barrier preventing re-infestation. Regular treatments destroy any eggs that manage to outlast that initial service. Once the inside has been addressed keeping these pests out is much easier.
INITIAL SERVICE
It seems that no matter how good we are about keeping the doors closed occasionally spiders, ants, or even rodents find their way inside. Pests around Eastern New Mexico, are persistent and will find the small cracks in the brick/stucco, a poor seal on the garage door, as well as plumbing and electrical penetrations to find their way inside.
We find that bugs make themselves known in the areas of the house with the most plumbing like the kitchen, laundry room, and bathrooms. Mac’s Pest Control will inspect any areas of activity to determine where the bugs are coming from. We will treat these areas as needed, as well as the baseboards, and under the sinks to make sure that you and your loved ones are the only ones living in your home.
EXTERIOR SERVICE
The outside of your home is where must bugs live and grow. Often there will be an Ant colony with its main entrance 10, 50, or even 100 Feet from your house.
Underground there is sprawling passages bringing them closer to your house as they forage and look for food. For this reason it is important to keep the perimeter, and yard pest free to keep them from popping up on the inside.
Mac’s Pest Control will start this service by applying products to treat around the door frames, window frames, and foundation and 6-10 feet out into the yard. This helps knock out any ants before they make their way inside, as well as prevent risk of other bugs getting onto the house.
Our treatment will cover all the weep holes or crawl space vents, as well as the flower beds, bushes, and other landscaping that bugs like to nest in. We apply a granular barrier 3 – 6 feet from the house. These granules are durable and designed to break down over time, so that when the rain does come, your house is ALWAYS protected.
